Although SomniFix mouth tape does uniquely include a small vent that allows for emergency airflow through the mouth, we recommends against using the mouth strips if you identify with any of the following:

1. Those who regularly experience difficulty breathing through the nose

2. Obese individuals with a BMI over 35

3. People with very low blood pressure

4. Those with severe heart or breathing problems

5. People who currently have a cold, a sinus infection, or an ear infection

6. Individuals with severely chapped lips or broken skin around the mouth

7. Those who have consumed alcohol or sedatives before bed

8. Children
